The nitty gritty part.....

By signing up with JJ Swim school, JJ Swim Coaching and paying your invoice you are giving us consent to the terms and conditions below as well to the pool rules located at each venue. Any person not complying with these rules and regulations will be asked to leave the premises. Copies are available on request and at the poolside for each session.

NO FILMING OR PHOTOGRAPHY while you are the pool premises. Teachers and coaches may possibly use filming our sessions as aid to help out with teaching points. These will be erased immediately at the pool side. There will not be shared with anyone or on social media.

Liability

JJ Swim School and JJ Swim Coaching , its owners, partners and employees shall under no circumstances be held liable for any accident or similar event or the consequences thereof, occurring on the premises or any other premises used for the purpose of swimming or training, and all persons attending these classes do so at their own risk. No liability will be accepted for the loss of or damage to property belonging to participants or spectators whilst on the swim School premises or any other premises used for the purpose of swimming lessons.

JJ Swim School cannot accept responsibility for any medical condition or additional needs of any swimmer unless a full disclosure of these details has been made to the swim team in writing by the swimmer, or parent or guardian of the swimmer when first registering the swimmer for lessons, or following any medical condition being confirmed during a course of lessons. 

Any swimmer known to be or found to be suffering any infectious ailment or condition will not be allowed to participate in the lesson. It is the responsibility of each swimmer or (for children) the parent or guardian of the swimmer to ensure that they are fit and well enough to participate in their lessons. JJ Swim School will not accept any liability for any infection passed to another swimmer on the course of lessons or in the pool.

Lesson fees

Course of lessons will be explained and invoiced at the start of every term at the time of booking or renewing. Swimmers will not be allowed to participate in any swimming lessons until the fees have been paid in full. Any returned payments will be charged £20

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel a booking you may do so by contacting us in writing at any time before your first lesson. You will receive a refund of tuition fees paid, less a 20% administration charge. However, after this period we cannot provide any type of credits or refunds. If we can accommodate to a different time or day, only when there is space to do so.

If doing a session at Canford School, coaches must be notified within 48 hours otherwise session will need to be paid in full.

Attendance

Swimmers must be occupied by a responsible adult, the adult must remain on Dumpton school’s premises for the duration of the lesson. If the swimmer has additional needs, you may be asked to remain on pool side to support your child. No refunds or “catch up lesson” will be offered where a child fails to attend or refused permission to attend, unless a prior agreement has been made over email with JJ Swim School.

Equipment

Swimmers must wear appropriate swim costumes this will also include wearing hat and googles when inside the pool. Costumes must be worn ready to start the sessions. Changing rooms can only be used at the end of the swim lesson.

Teachers/Coaches

JJ Swim School will endeavour to provide the same teachers for the same lessons in each term to allow for consistency. However, due to unforeseen circumstances we may not always be able to guarantee. All our teachers are Swim England and or STA qualified.

Behaviour

In the event of a swimmer or one of the associates refusing to adhere to an instruction from a  member of staff from JJ Swim School or Dumpton School, behaving in an unruly manner towards a member of staff or any other person, or causing damage to the premises, the swimmers and associates will not be allowed to enter the premises of Dumpton School or return to swimming lessons at JJ Swim School.

JJ Swim School has the right to terminate the contract without further notice and without required to offer any type of credit or refund to the swimmer or associates. The swimmer would not be accepted to any future swimming courses. Should the behaviour of any swimmer result in disruption of learning by swimmers in the group, the swimmer would be asked to leave the pool and not be allowed to continue with that session. If the swimmer’s behaviour continues disrupt lessons further, the swimmer will not be allowed to continue with their lessons and JJ Swim school will terminate the contract without further notice and without required to offer any credit or refund to the swimmer. The swimmer shall not be accepted at any further swim courses.
